Special Situations
This page has information on some special situations for registration
If you are registered with WHOA from a region other than Region 4, please contact the Registrar so that we know to look for your registration data.
If you are already registered as a USA Hockey official in another state in the USA Hockey Central District (Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri), you will also have to register with WHOA in order to officiate in Wisconsin (this is a Wisconsin Amateur Hockey Association rule).
To register with WHOA:
- Navigate to the WHOA Registration site
- Register at the correct USA Hockey Level for the WHOA/WAHA Registration Fee only. It should be the last entry at each level, and look something like this:
- Complete the registration procedure, including payment of WHOA dues
- Notify the DCHOA Registrar if your registration status does not update on the DCHOA directory within a few days
If you are already registered as a USA Hockey official from outside the Central District (not registered in Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, Missouri), you need to add the Central District to your "Officiating Assignments" on the USA Hockey courses page. This will enable the Central District to import your USA Hockey registration data.
The complete USA Hockey registration data transfer process is complicated, so please contact the DCHOA Registrar for assistance.
You will also have to register with the Wisconsin Hockey Officials Association (WHOA) after the data transfer is complete.
If you have been invited to register with DCHOA as a guest under the Complimentary Membership Policy, work with the Scheduler and Registrar to obtain your DCHOA login information and to submit availability.
