2026 – 27 USA Hockey Education Requirements

Navigating Your 2026 – 27 USA Hockey Requirements

To help you plan your summer, here is a breakdown of the specific educational components required for Levels 2, 3, and 4. If you are currently a Level 1, 2, or 3 official, I strongly encourage you to step up and register for the next level to keep your development moving forward. This year, USA Hockey has updated the Level 2 Online Education Modules and Virtual Seminar, as they continue their efforts to provide updated content for all officials.

** A Note on Seminars: Because seminar spots across the country are online, they fill up incredibly fast. Do not wait until the fall – log into the Learning Center and secure a seminar date that fits your summer schedule now.

Taking care of your modules and seminars during June, July and August ensures that you are not scrambling in October when the local game schedule is in full swing. More information on the USA Hockey educational requirements can be found on the Officials Education Section of the USA Hockey website.

In our July newsletter, I’ll be sharing the full details of DCHOA’s educational programming for the upcoming season, including some new and exciting opportunities.

If you have any content suggestions, or comments, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
