Running Time Script for Officials
In order to keep games on schedule, Region 4 has adopted running time to curfew all games if needed, except tournaments and Mavericks NIHL league games. Keeping games on schedule is important for all the players, families, and officials who have planned their day knowing what times their games start and end. See Region 4 Running Time Policy for more information.
Officials can use the script provided when communicating running time to both coaches and timekeeper throughout the game.
Timeouts
USA Hockey does not allow timeouts in a game with a curfew. Once curfew running time has started, no timeouts will be allowed.
